Tennessee Fire Safety Inspectors Association

The Tennessee Fire Safety Inspectors Association was established October 25, 1967 for the purpose of uniting those engaged in the field of fire inspection, protection, and prevention activities.

A key component of the Association is the annual educational conference.  With membership and attendance at 250+ each year, the TFSIA conference is one of the largest attended events for continuing education classes in the region.  The annual conference features instructors from around the country to bring new technologies, methodologies, and perspectives as well as updates on code revisions, and basic code training.  The conference is also submitted to the Tennessee State Fire Marshal’s Office for continuing education credits that can be applied to a fire inspector’s re-certification every three years.

The Tennessee Fire Safety Inspectors Association is a Chapter Member of the International Code Council (#5206648) and recognized as a Preferred Provider Program (#1139).
