Following the stage collapse on August 13 in Indiana that killed seven people, increased attention will be paid to to stage construction safety on New Year's Eve in Nashville.

Engineers with the State will conduct inspections on the stage and scaffolding that will be used by Lynard Skynard and other performers.  Concrete construction barriers will also be used to tether the stage.
