According to Metro police, one man was painting inside an enclosed space when some fumes ignited and sparked a small fire.

He suffered burns over his entire body and was last listed in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Another man painting nearby also suffered burns to his face and arms.  He was also taken to Vanderbilt.

The victims' names weren't immediately released.
