The National Fire Academy

The National Fire Academy is located in Emmitsburg, Maryland and provides some of the highest levels of training to the nation's fire service.  Fire safety inspectors, code officials, and others are able to attend classes in three areas specific to fire prevention.  These include the Technical series (codes, application), Management series (code/standard development, program management), and Public Education (fire/life safety initiatives, developing curriculum).  Classes are offered on campus, off campus, and online.
