Committees
Education - Conference, Training (Program) The Education/Program Committee is responsible for developing the educational program for the Annual Conference and submitting the program to the State Fire Marshal's Office for approval of continuing education hours. This group is also responsible for assisting the speakers during their stay at the Conference
Membership Members of the Board serving on this committee coordinate Association membership rolls and recruit new members to the Association. Individuals attending the Annual Conference automatically have membership in TFSIA. Non-conference attendees may join or renew membership by paying annual dues in an amount designated by the Association By-Laws.
Finance The objective of the Finance Committee is to enlist the support of the membership to fund the Association's activities and to solicit support and funding from outside organizations, companies, and individuals.
Legislative The Legislative Committee is comprised of Board members selected to serve as liaisons to the Tennessee Fire Service Coalition and convey state legislative matters related to fire safety to the Board of Directors and the Association Membership. Members are: Wayne Waggoner - Primary (Vice Chair of the Tennessee Fire Service Coalition), Ken Honeycutt - Alternate, and Robert Law (Treasurer of the Tennessee Fire Service Coalition)
